Upgrading Tomcat to 8.x using a Yellowfin zip file

As per the question here:
Yellowfin 7.3 will be shipped with Tomcat 8.x. Do you provide a similar zip file for an upgrade of Tomcat?
Will Tomcat 8.x work with installations of 7.1 or 7.2 ?

Thanks for reaching out with your questions. I've created an internal task to have a Tomcat 8.x update zip file created for Yellowfin. This can be referenced by YSD-715. While Tomcat 8.x should work with 7.1 and 7.2, it hasn't been officially tested. I'll update you when the update zip file is available.
In the meantime, if you require updating prior to the release of said update file, you can follow the documented process here to update Tomcat using a download from the official Tomcat website.
